In the past week, Donald Trump’s son, Eric, learned a valuable lesson. Two sisters that attended his event reminded him of his introductory Spanish course. One of the Sisters wore a t=shirt that said, “Latinas Contra Trump.” Now this is not a positive endorsement of Donald Trump. This t-shirt went viral after it was posted on Instagram. The lesson to learn. Make sure you understand the meaning of the words that others are using particularly in their context. Their words might mean something different in another language. In this case, Contra or Contrary, are the words. The most important for Donald Trump, is the learned about the others and how they communicate with each other.

The ultimate presentation

I have given countless presentations and talks in my life. I have worked as a substance abuse counselor at methadone clinic and I also worked in a prison with substance abusing offenders. I also spent some time developing my routine as a stand-up comedian. In the last 5 years as a professor, I have prepared for class, local, state and national presentations. I still get nervous and I have learned to use that energy to my advantage. The most difficult presentation that I have done was a eulogy about six months ago. It was for my best friend, David.
